So, now there is Hurricane Michael. It completely bypassed my area of Florida, but, it hit the Panhandle as a category 4. Apparently, it is the third-most-powerful storm ever to hit the U.S. mainland. Wow.

Re: Stay Safe Everyone!

The doctor said I had a minor heart attack, but, fortunately it was minor enough that there was no meaningful damage to my heart. After this, the doctor said that I was doing well in my followup exam and I have been feeling fine. So, since then, I have had four (I think) checkups with my primary do...

So, this kind of spans the "Web Of Sex Scandals" thread and this one. One thing that really surprised me about the whole Kavanugh issue is how quickly they were able to find high-school classmates to testify for both Kavanaugh and his accuser. I do not know the contact information of any -...

Re: Vice/Untitled Adam McKay Movie reviews

Amy Adams has a chance at a nomination. Her scenes are bigger as the film positions Lynn Cheney as the most energetic and ambitious figure in his life. Her old age makeup is fine. She gets to tell Young Dick to shape up, she gets to campaign for him when he has a heart attack... the film doesn't qu...

Best Of Luck If Anyone Is In The Path Of Hurricane Florence

Best of luck if anyone is in the path of Hurricane Florence. It is almost exactly a year after Hurricane Irma struck Florida, where my area was spared the worst of it, even though I had to go without electricity for five days.
