Every source I'm finding says this was a Christmas '26 release.

The Christmas Day 1926 release date cited everywhere applies to the Los Angeles premiere. If that was followed by continuous performances thereafter, then fine, but if it was a one-off with no continuous performances, as was the case with a number of films in those days, then January 8, 1927 when it opened to continuous performances in New York would be a more accurate release date. However, for the sake of consistency with using the earlier of either the New York or Los Angeles opening date, as best as can be determined, I've removed Flesh and the Devil from my 1927 listings.

Definitely a good list. Anyone who can appreciate a movie like Sunrise (unlike that idiot Tom O'Neil) at the age of 15 certainly deserves respect.

I think you mean Al Jolson.

This is quite an impressive list for a 15 year-old. Actually it's quite impressive for anyone. I hope to see more of your thoughts.

I mean of course Al Jolson.

And i thank you for your comment.
