Here is an inspirational video of J. K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books. It is ironic that I share so much in common with her, but I have never read any of the Harry Potter books or seen any of the Harry Potter movies. I am an aspiring screenwriter and, like Rowling, have suffered from depression and what is referred to as maladaptive daydreaming. In the video, Rowling discusses her depression; but, not her daydreaming, although I have read about it. It starts with some "What are your most. . . " questions with her that surprised me with how closely they aligned with the answers I would have given. It includes a commencement speech she gave at Harvard.
